The Last Day of 2012!

These will be the last pair of shoes I will wear in 2012 but the first in 2013!

These will be the last pair of shoes I will wear in 2012 but the first in 2013!

I own TONS of black shoes and to make them all a little special in their own ways I always like to buy ones with something a little extra on them.

Got the cutest shoe keychain from Mika! <3
I’ve been wanting to try Ramen Underground for awhile and I finally got the chance to Tuesday night! I wasn’t aware of how small the place was but none the less it was yummy and perfect for a cold night.

I was watching something over the weekend on the Food Network about BBQ and ever since I couldn’t stop thinking about having it! Tuesday night was quite a disappointment. We went to two other BBQ places that were CLOSED before we settle for this one! I wasn’t a happy camper about that. My taste buds weren’t as satisfied as I wanted them to be either but it wasn’t too bad.

Food Ordered: St. Louis Style Smoked Pork Ribs, Memphis Sweet-Smoked Pork, and Texas Beef Brisket (the BEST of the 3) w/ Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad, and a corn muffin

Food Ordered: Slow-Smoked Texas Beef Brisket sandwich (I would definitely return for their sandwiches!) w/fries and corn muffin

Thursday night was my first time ever at Red Robins. I’ve never been to Red Robins or similar restaurants like it because I am a city girl and honestly in SF I have plenty of places to go so restaurants like this are only ones I see on TV. The place is kind of ghetto but perfect for Roger dinner dates BUT not a REAL date though! I had a pretty good chicken sandwich and I’d come back. ;)

Food Ordered: Bruschetta Chicken burger w/onion rings
Red Robins

San Bruno, CA 94066
I’m a fan of Mexican food but I especially like tacos! I went to Taco Tuesday this week and instead of just ordering the two I like, I asked for every single one they made. I didn’t actually try every single one because my eyes are always bigger than my stomache. Though, I can tell you my favorite ones has always been the fish and the short ribs which I ordered two of along with the six others. I actually expected my date to finish them but that didn’t happen. I guess not everyone likes tacos as much as I do! ;)

Food Ordered: Albacore Tuna Tostadas (this was on SF 100 things to eat last year and I LOVE this!)

I’m not going to name every single one only because I’m not sure of the order AND I DID order every single one they had.

I met Jestinne for lunch at the Ferry Building on Wednesday. I always love it there because every restaurant there has outside seating and you get the view of the Golden Gate bridge!

I don’t usually eat things like burgers and fries because I just don’t but I was having the weirdest craving for like a sandwich or burger or something along those lines. Matt suggested Park Chow and I’ve always wanted to try that place so we went for dinner. I definitely think I’ll go back and I’ll probably have pasta next time.

Food Ordered: Mac & Cheese, Tuna Melt w/ fries

Food Ordered: Biscuit Benny

I met Joanna and Anna for much over dued dinner time Wednesday night at a place I’ve been wanting to try for awhile. I’m a little disappointed because I expected amazingness from every single dish and I didn’t really get that but I’ll always try something twice before I decide I’m not into it so I might be back again.

Food Ordered: Corn Fritters (this was yummy ESPECIALLY with the dipping sauce it came with!) and Singaporean Curry Noodle

Food Ordered: Rendang Beef w/rice and Nasi Goreng (yummy!)

The food at Hard Knox is always so good to me because it’s all comfort food. Though I do always feel guilty the rest of the day after eating here and I’m not really a fan of the neighborhood either. They do have 2 locations but the fact this is the first one I dine here just because I feel like it’s better?

Food Ordered: Corn Muffins (LOVE these things) and Fried and Blackened Catfish w/ Potato Salad, and Mac & Cheese
Hard Knox Cafe
2526 3rd St
San Francisco, CA 94107
Nothing is better than having hot pot for dinner on a nasty, rainy night and Saturday was definitely nasty! I come here pretty often because I love the fact it’s all you can eat AND they have these yummy little dessert baos I like. I think Melissa kinda love the place now too! ;)

Wednesday night, Sherena and I took Sandra out for a little make up dinner since we both missed her birthday party Saturday night. I decided to come to Betelnut because I was in the mood for Asian food and they’re also featured on SF 100 Things to Eat list so I figured why not? I also get SO excited when I can cross off something on that list!

Food Ordered: L-R = 5-spiced Garlic Edamame, “Shui Jiao” Pork & Garlic Chive Dumplings, & Szechuan Green Beans

Food Ordered: L-R = Glazed Pork Short Ribs, Malaysian Curry “Laksa” noodle soup (#88 on SF 100 Things To Eat), & Indonesian “Mee Goreng” noodles
